Nickname: None (I call him Ryu-cutie though)
Age: 225 (Appears 17)
Birthday: September 26th
Likes: Sleeping, training, being independent
Dislikes: Food cooked by Tatarime, whiners, asking for help, being weak, his family, heights
Family: He was raised by his father, Asato, until he was 180 (about 12 in human years). He never knew his mother. Currently, Tatarime is his official guardian, even though they are not related.
Strengths: Nice to his friends, stands up for what he believes in, never gives up
Faults: Rushes into things, doesn’t like to except help, not good at hiding his Kitsune features (ear, tail and feet)
Species: Kitsune
Looks: Reddish-brown hair pulled into a ponytail that reaches to his shoulder blades, two black braids on both sides nears his ears, forest green eyes, (In his human form he usually has red fox ears with black tips, a red fox tail with a white tip and black fox paws for feet.) In his fox form, he is a red fox with black and white markings.
Birthplace: Nagame Village, a small village on the outskirts of the Spirit Clan
Personality: Ryu can be very kindhearted once he gets familiar with others. He’s never had much interaction with others after he left home and can be a bit distant towards strangers at times. When around unfamiliar Kitsune, he tries to distance himself. Even so, he can sometimes overcome these feelings, as he did with Mirru. He always tries his hardest to protect his friends even if his powers aren’t that strong just yet. He’s also a hard worker when it comes to his training and doesn’t like to quit. Aside from that, he’s easily shocked and falls asleep very quickly.
Bio: Ryu is a young Kitsune who was raised by hs father for most of his childhood. He was born right when the struggle for power started. As a child, Ryu didn't have many friends. He was the runt who was always being picked on by the others. Perhaps it was because of this that he finally decided to leave. Ryu lived on his own for awhile before Tatarime became his official guardian. He didn’t like it at first and hated Tatarime, but he grew to like it.
Fun Facts: Ryu has a mild case of acrophobia (fear of heights). Also, Ryu is embarrassed of his clan’s color (pink), so he wears his belt on his upper left arm and out of sight.
Authors Notes: Ryu is one of my favorite characters to write about and draw. He was the first character I can up with for this story and his design really hasn’t changed all that much (aside from the fact that he used to be drawn in an anime style.) Heh, I enjoy teasing him. (Or having Tatarime teasing him.)
